TWU Local 100 Family Day is on June 4, 2016 and HealthQuest is co-sponsoring the event with an attorney firm known as the Disability Guys, and Atlas Travel.
TWU Local 100 Family Day is when transit workers and their families gather to enjoy time together off from work. Up to 6000-7000 TWU workers are expected to attend the TWU Local 100 Family Day celebrations.
TWU Local mainly represents employees in the New York City public transportation network and at some private bus lines serving the New York City metropolitan area. In the NYC subway lines, Local 100 represents all workers who operate trains, maintain the trains and tracks, staff the token booths, clean platforms and subway cars, and service and repair mechanical equipment such as elevators and escalators.
The more the merrier goes the saying and this year, TWU local 100 Family Day is expected to live up to this. Thousands of TWU workers and their families will attend this event at which they will play hard and party hard with plenty of great food and thrilling games. And there are great prizes too – a raffle for a cruise and Great Adventure season passes.
Additionally, a special New York personality will be present to sign autographs and meet the members. In the past, guests have included NY Knicks great John Starks, and Mets/Yankees legend Dwight “Doc” Gooden. This year’s guest will be sure not to disappoint.
